People will come from Victoria and Queensland again this year to join many locals in the fifth annual memorial walk in which we walk in Cad's footsteps for about 13km from Terrigal to Bateau Bay.

Andrew touched many lives not just during, but before and after, his epic journey and this is a way to show that. And that has become more evident with the incredible response from the book - With Every Step - written by Cad's father Neil Cadigan (author of 16 books).

The earlier edition of the book, called A Man and a Pram, will be available on the day.

The walk will depart The Haven at Terrigal (NSW Central Coast) at 9am (look for Cad's Cause banner near the waterside).

The course stretches from the waterfront The Haven to Bateau Bay Sports Club. We thank the support of the club and parent company Wyong Leagues Club for their ongoing support.

The club will provide courtesy buses returning to Terrigal at 1.30pm, 2.30 and 3,30.

This year's walk, which may be the last, will take fund-rising from the memorial get-together to around $30,000 which has gone towards the $180,000 dedicated to the Andrew Cadigan PHD Scholarship into research of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), struck by the Leukaemia Foundation.

Souvenir t-shirts (with the image similar to above) are available for order and up to October 21 and can be picked up on the day. This year the shirts will be black.

Even if you're not able to walk you can still order a t-shirt or donate to help us reach our target for the Leukaemia Foundation MDS research PHD, named in honour of Andrew Cadigan and Chris Simpson.
